Yes, the newer version is easier to install, just run setup:

Just updated the game couple of seconds ago. Please retry and re-download the latest version.

Try to re-download (and disable firewall/antivirus) then re-install, as the files are corrupted. Perhaps you firewall did block some specific .dll files which are missing now during the installation. We've checked it and it works perfectly fine.

You should re-download the file. There has been added a newer version meanwhile. There's a setup.exe inside and after the installation is finished open the 'sr5' folder.
