I tried sauvage elixir two days ago and I can tell it's not unique fragrance it's fresh with less citrus notes ...if you want performance it was good but it's not the same as the original ones .

I recommend that you layer Elixir with the EDT but either will do. Personally, I find the EDT creates a woodsy, manly shower gel aroma that remains to be unbeaten. I recommend you spray Elixir first, then the Sauvage of your choice.

Thanks for your review, can I ask if I have the Elixir, do you recommend the best layering to be with the EDT or EDP (I know the the latter is your favourite)? Also, can I ask how you recommend layering…do you spray the EDT first and then the EDP on top?
