Living in a super a super dry climate with ungodly low humidity, I do find applying lotion can be beneficial for overall skin health. And, in general, fragrances perform at their best on healthy skin. But fragrances are designed to fully experienced on bare skin. So while our low humidity winters require lotion usage, I try to let it get absorbed first. Taking colder showers to limit epidermal moisture loss, eating healthier and staying active is by far the best performance hack. Nothing beats daily cardio for improving skin health.
